In the second quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Lebanon showed varied performance across different platforms. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced differing trends in downloads and active users, providing a comprehensive view of their market presence.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady pace in downloads, starting with approximately 699 weekly downloads and peaking at around 917 by the end of June. Active users showed a significant increase, growing from about 2.3K to over 8K throughout the quarter.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a moderate fluctuation in downloads, with numbers ranging from 623 to 804 weekly. The app's active users also displayed a dynamic trend, beginning at 9.3K and peaking at 13.4K mid-quarter before stabilizing around 12K.

inDrive. Save on city rides experienced a slight increase in downloads, starting at 409 and reaching 505 by the end of the quarter. However, active users gradually declined from 7.6K to 5.2K, indicating a decrease in user engagement.

Careem – rides, food & more had relatively stable download numbers, fluctuating between 183 and 269 weekly. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 2.2K and ending at 2K, with minor ups and downs.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed a consistent download range from 124 to 204 throughout the quarter. Active users remained steady, slightly increasing from 750 to 802 by the end of June.
